We are delighted to announce that we will be running a EuroMillions Syndicate to raise funds to support player development and facilities in all sections of the club. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to The Dillon Quirke Foundation

What Is A Euro Millions Syndicate?

A lottery syndicate is a group of individuals who play the lottery together. By pooling their money and buying multiple tickets collectively, players increase their chance of winning a lottery draw and share any winnings between them. In Ireland, 1 in 5 of top game prizes across Lotto and EuroMillions are won by syndicates.

How Much Is It?

Each one-off €25 entry will entitle you to 1 share of any winnings subject to the terms and conditions (below). You can buy as many entries/shares as you want. €25 is the cost for one year.

How Does It Work?

6 lines (made up of 5 numbers and 2 lucky stars) are purchased for every Euromillions draw (Tuesday and Friday) for a total of 104 draws during 2024. Any winnings from the draws will be distributed among syndicate entrants.

The ticket/numbers will be published on this page every week.

Can I Win And How?

The Syndicates numbers will be entered in both the Euro Millions draw, Euro Millions Plus draw and the €5,000 raffle every Tuesday and Friday from the first draw on January 2nd 2024 to the final draw on the 27th December 2024.

All prizes won from the draws will be divided between the lucky syndicate members. See regulations below.

Note: Draw start was postponed to Tuesday 9^th January with a finishing draw date of Friday 3^rd January to still incorporate 104 draws.

Where Is The Money Going?

The money will be used to purchase tickets on behalf of the syndicate.

A portion of the money raised (€1000) will be donated to The Dillon Quirke Foundation.

The remainder will be used to support player and facilities development within the club.

Who Can Buy A Ticket(s)?

Any person over 18 years of age can purchase a ticket.

Any child under 18 can be added to the ticket as a co-entrant with an adult.

Regulations

Purchase of a €25 ticket entitles you to one share in the syndicate.
You must be 18 years of age or over to become a member of the syndicate. Any syndicate members under the age of 18 must name a parent/guardian on their ticket.
All entries must be returned to the committee by 31st December 2023.
A €1,000 donation, from ticket sales, will be made to Dillon Quirke Foundation.
The Syndicate will enter each Euromillions draw, starting on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 and the final draw is on Friday 27th December.
The Syndicate entry will be a 6-line ticket to the main Euromillions draw and Euromillions Plus draw.
Numbers each week will be selected as a quick pick.
Numbers entered and any winnings will be made available on this page
Smaller winnings will be allowed to accumulate and will be distributed at the end of the year. Any prize amounts that equate to less than €100 per syndicate member will be raffled amongst all syndicate members with prizes of no less than €100. The club will round up any prize funds to the nearest €100
It is not deemed to be feasible to pay out winnings to every individual syndicate member for amounts of less than €100 per member. Any winnings amounting to a payout of less than €100 per member, will be distributed by means of raffle between members for larger amounts. The breakdown of these amounts will be decided by the Euromillions Syndicate Committee.
Winnings of over €1,000 per syndicate member in any single draw will be paid within a month, otherwise winnings will be paid after the final draw.
Prizes will be paid out in cheque format. Cheques will have to be collected and signed for on designated collection nights. Any unclaimed cheques within 8 weeks of collection dates will be donated to the Dillon Quirke Foundation. Syndicate members will be contacted of wins, raffle dates and collection nights by email. Any members who fail to collect cheques will be contacted by phone or letter to offer them the opportunity to claim their winnings. Disputes must be made in writing to the club secretary by email at secretary.templederry.tipperary@gaa.ie within 21 days of a win.
In so far as is affordable, the proceeds of funds raised will be spent on additional lighting to training fields, repair works to field facilities, new storage unit & renovation works to balcony in the main hall to allow safe usage of space for groups using the hall facilities.
Templederry Kenyons GAA Euromillions syndicate committee decision on all matters is final.

Amendments

Draw start was postponed to Tuesday 9th January with a finishing draw date of Friday 3rd January to still incorporate 104 draws.
Where possible, a ticket will be purchased for 8 draws at a time. The ticket will be a quick pick ticket and the numbers on this ticket will remain the same for the 8 consequent draws. When a new ticket is purchased at the end of the 8 draws, it will be a new quick pick ticket and the numbers will change.
Tickets will be purchased online by a representative of the club and on production of evidence of the lotto ticket to the club treasurer, that representative will be reimbursed by the club. Any winnings will be transferred back to the club for distribution as outlined to the syndicate.
Any missed draws for whatever reason, will be added on at the end of the agreed syndicate period to allow for members to be included in 104 draws in total

GDPR Statement

The syndicate will collect and retain names, phone numbers and email addresses (if provided) for the purposes of recording syndicate membership and communication with syndicate members in the event of prize distribution. The data will be retained securely for a period of 14 months from collection of the data.
